Made by you.

If you would like to have a go at pottery yourself, you can join me in my studio for a private pottery lesson. All materials are included, and you get to keep whatever you make!

Functionality.

Designed with purpose, beautiful objects intended for daily usage. Pieces meant to keep you company throughout the day, not sit idly on a shelf.

Craftsmanship.

From functional aspects to design choices, every little detail reflects the care of the maker. Pieces born out of careful attention and consideration are bound to become an intrinsic part of your daily routine.

Serendipity.

Objects that find you, as much as you find them. Stumble across your favourite piece, and let the right pot grab you. Make the joy of the find part of the experience, you'll know when you've found the one.

Kenobi started a while ago...

I discovered clay on a sunny Saturday morning in Buenos Aires, during Spring 2014. I showed up for my first lesson at my teachers' workshop and after 3 hours of (failed) attempts to make a mug I was totally hooked.

Through my years of practice and making pots I discovered a passion for producing functional art. Beautiful things to use in our everyday life, that make simple occasions much more memorable.

I created Kenobi Ceramics so I would be able to share that feeling with the world. For everyone to be part of the extraordinary experience of utilizing unique pieces that turn our routines into exceptional moments.

And here is a bit more about me

I am originally from Argentina, I moved to New Zealand in 2017.

My wife Kirsten and I are parents to the lovely Miles, a human born in the middle of 2020.

I do pottery only in my spare time, at the moment I have a full-time job in IT as a Software QA.

I love photography and videography.

I enjoy cooking and baking.

I favor dark beers, stouts in particular.

I have two cats and a dog: Blue, Luna, and Rex. Blue is super smart but very clumsy. Luna is a bit of a psycho, but very sweet and cuddly (sometimes). Rex is very much a Border Terrier, electric most of the time but can also have chill afternoons on the couch.

I have recently taken on Magic: The Gathering. Email me if you play, always keen on talking Magic.
