Glaze lineup.

My collection consists of two different glazes: a glossy one, and a semi-matte.

Imperial White is the glossy base, and it is used as a liner in all the pieces I make. I have no variations on this glaze.

Hoth is the semi-matte base, used exclusively on the outside of the piece. From this base, with the addition of colorants, I created the rest.

Black Stoneware

Clay bodies.

It will never cease to amaze me how much the clay body impacts the finished piece.

I work with two stoneware bodies, one fires to a buff colour, while the other is black. I call them the Dark Side and the Light.

Sleek.

Rings.

Carved.

Decorations.

I decorate pieces by carving markings on the clay, which interact with the glazes and produce interesting effects.

Sleek is a minimal look that highlights the form of the piece, while Carved is highly ornamented with a busy pattern. In between the two, there's Rings.
